We have a friend that came to us and wanted to have shingles, roof, and siding. We came to hun with a fair estimate and he told us that there was a cheaper price (even after breaking down our estimate with him) and he went with the competition. After the project was complete, he has that it ended up being more expensive than our original estimate because the contractor kept telling him add ons that costs a lot and the price kept going higher. That is why our prices are fair at the beginning and we pride ourselves to keep with those estimates. There are elements you cannot always account for changes in price like inventory as those continue to go up, but depends on when the estimate is provided and materials are ordered.
